My Thoughts: 2012 Formula 1 Season

from: yallaf1.com

Formula One's 2012 season is about to end this Sunday on November 25th at Brazil. This is one of the interesting seasons I've seen in Formula One. In the first seven legs, different driver won and fans, spectators can not even predict who will dominate this season. As this season is on progress Red Bull again dominates and still the Constructors' Champion, and for the drivers "I do not know who" some say it is Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, or Lewis Hamilton. Right now, I read a lot of Formula 1 news about who will win the Driver's Championship title, Vettel or Alonso.

This season is still exciting, and unpredictable even though Sebastian (who is now 13 points ahead of Fernando) and Red Bull (2012's Constructor's Champion) dominate in the near end of the season.  I think this season will somewhat answer F1 fans whether is it the driver's skills or the car's engineering. After we all know who won the title just like Kimi Raikkonen says "Whoever score more points..." the debate goes on...

Red Bull's car has great performance but Ferrari like their fans would honestly admit that the team are struggling to produce better than Redbull and McLaren. But it will boils down to the two drivers who are fighting for the title in the last race of the season at Brazil.

Sebastian Vettel is a good driver with a team whose car is always in great shape, consistent in their performance. Fernando Alonso is a great driver but his team's car performance is not consistent. Every race, Ferrari will depend on their driver's performance (Alonso & Massa). I am really impressed in this season with Alonso because even though their car is not  in great shape he found ways to get to reach podium and score points. I can see his great effort during races, that is why I am now a huge fan of him. He is a driver who does not gets freaked out, doing things one step at a time, and a fighter he does not stop until he reached his goal. I can say he is a better driver than Sebastian Vettel. This dude is now matured compared to previous years which I hated him so much. But now I can see how a great driver he is compared to Vettel is from driving skills, and mental endurance. Vettel is such a crybaby listening him talking to the team radio, he is still a kid in a race track (MAN UP!). Unlike Alonso when there is an incident happen during the race, he is just calm talking to the team radio. He knows and thinks what to do before the race starts. I hope he retired in Ferrari.

Just imagine what if Red Bull had Ferrari's poor car performance and Ferrari to Red Bull's current performance, will Vettel be in Alonso's place and win the title? I do not think so.

This Sunday is D-Day, as a Fernando Alonso fan, I can say he can be this year's champion but one thing that worries me is the car. Last year, Sebastian won. We will really find out this Saturday for the qualifying round and on Sunday the final race.

May the best driver wins!

Vamos Alonso!
always smile! =)
