Korean Variety Show Obsession

I have been a Korean drama fan. Last month, I was watching Kim Tae-Hee's latest project the newly-finished Jang Ok Jung: Live by Love, it is about the life of Jang Hui-Bin one of the most beautiful women in the Joseon Dynasty and became the famous concubine. While browsing SBS like page in Facebook to check some spoilers, I read some Facebook readers about Running Man. I heard the name of the show, and my sister mentioned that her favorite Korean boyband Big Bang were among the guest. So I watched the Big Bang episode of Running Man on YouTube, and the show was so fun. I decided to watched all the episodes starting from the pilot.

Currently I am now on the 88th episode. Every episode never fails me to laugh, their pranks are funny!

It is also one of my bucketlist to be a guest of this show.

Hanging Coffins at Echo Valley Park

After witnessing the amazing sunrise at Kiltepan Peak, we went straight to the famous hanging coffins. We passed by the modern cemetery, and there is a "grave" with a glass where you can peek the dead(?) (I did not dare to peek, because I might awake the dead) before reaching the old coffins. It was a long but a nice walk going to the coffins.

Walk in the park.

Modern cemetery

I think it was called Echo Valley because we try to scream since it is called "Echo Valley", our voice echoed and my little cousins had fun. As we almost reached the coffins we have to hike downhill. and wahlaaaa. Amazeballs. the famous hanging coffins. Hanging coffins are not only seen in Echo Valley but in also other parts of Sagada, some are deep below the where the hanging coffins in the photo that was covered by the big branches of trees surrounding it.

Hanging the coffins were the tradition practice of the people in Sagada. It is still a practice today, there are some Sagada natives requested that their dead body will be hanged and not be placed and buried in the "modern" cemetery.
