Backpacking

Hello everyone! Last week, I was on a tour/vacation around the Philippines with my family. We aboard on a plane to Clark and traveled home by land. My uncle and cousin traveled to Luzon first by land, and they fetch us at the airport.

Before the trip, I was tasked to search and book for transient homes, hotel, and etc. It was challenging because it is hard to look for cheaper and affordable places on the internet.

It was a fun, exciting, tiring, and memorable experience I had. I'll be blogging entries about the places we visit.

This entry is about backpacking. Backpacking was one of my major problem because I do not have the idea when will back.

This video really helps and gives my ideas:

• Only bring the things that are necessary.
• Instead of a soap bar, bring a body wash.
• Shampoo bottle ---> tingi tingi. OR If not and you do not want your toiletries bag to be "soapy", make sure to clean the bottle using a dry tissue or cloth, and make sure you closed the lid is properly closed.
• Pants --> Leggings/Jeggings
• Footwear that can be washed (crocs, and etc). it depends on your trip
• Bags must be waterproof.
• Cellophane bags for your laundry. if there is time have time to do laundry during your trip.
• Save money during the trip.
• Prepare an itinerary. Do some research about the places you will be going to visit.
• Have a travel pack checklist.
• Bring a map or GPS.
• Always be alert.
• Bring a travel pillow. (so useful)

Forever Paradise

This is one of the beautiful places I've ever been. PARADISE

I was supposed to visit this place with my relatives November last year but because of school enrollment matters I decided not to go. But it was a right decision because I got all the remaining subject then graduated last March 24. Luckily when I was at my aunt's place, my other aunt told me that she will go back to Socorro with her office mates,she asked me if I want to go and I said yes (alangan basta laag go jud!). Thank God! What a perfect timing because it was after our exam week and I consider it as graduation gift.

It was a 7-8 hour road trip from Davao to Hayanggabon, Surigao del Norte. We leave 8pm in Davao and arrived at the port around 3:30 am and waited for another 3 hours (?) for the small boat from the resort  to fetch us. When Mr. Sun is out, it is my first time to see a mining site, all I can see is the dark soil around the place, a bus full of miners pass by to go their sites.

Makes me sad when I saw this.

 I was so excited as we are on board in this bangka. We brought our own lifevest, I intended to wear the vest but I have to. It was a 45min seatrip or it depends of the waves going to "paradiso". Me and sister had with the semi-big waves we were both laughing, but our co-passengers were not happy but scared. hihi

so much for that. i'm just happy at the same time bored because i'm stuck here at home and pigging. it's a surprise to me that i am kind of excited for this coming semester because i only have 27 units left before finishing my college degree. but it would take some hard hard work to accomplish this goohll.

mee so excited but scared. i don't know what job to enter. maybe blogging? but I really planned a travelog but the problem is where to get money (magtrabaho eh!) travel travel is always on my mind right now. I want to visit outside Mindanao. explore somewhere cool and only a few who visited that place.

so i'll be back blogging...

all i can say is that i am freaking bored in here. i want to get out of this house. and when i finally finish college i'll probably live my life outside the country.
