Thoughts and my reactions about the 2011 NBA Finals

THE TIME IS NOW!!

I am a proud DALLAS MAVERICKS FAN! and its their year! I am NBA crazy today because of them, my last NBA crazy frenzy was 2006 I think...

This frenzy started when my friend told me that the team is in the Playoffs with the LA Lakers. Philippine cable didn't show some of Dallas match in the start of the season, they're selecting teams in broadcasting the basketball games.

 I knew that they'll be champions when they swept the Lakers off with a 4-0. It was unbelievable because Lakers were last year's champions and they are going to had a possible three-peat but my team swept them! I watched their games on replay because I had summer classes. Then their match with Oklahoma City Thunder (first time, naa diay ani na team?) for Western Conference Championship, it was like veterans vs. the rookies. But Dirk and the gang did a great job. The winning three point shots (Stevenson, Peja, Kidd, Jet) , and Dirk's unstoppable fade-away shot made them go to the Finals.

Then the Finals! geezz I was nervous because I really thought it would be the Celtics or the Bulls but darn it's the HEAT! I was worried because they have the "Big Three" (Wade, Bosh, and James) great players. I was nervous especially on Game One!

GAME ONE: I was so nervous, I was expecting they're gonna lose the game. Natalo nga, it's like the Heat always have a slam dunk contest. dunk dunk dunk and they won. I lose hope with my friends "trash talk". and I was depressed.hahahahaha

GAME TWO: I didn't watch it live because it was the day of enrollment. I just received text from my friends updating me. But almost scream when they text that they won. the 15point lead from Miami in the last 5 minutes of the game, they did it. Watching the replay, WHAAA! they're so good! game 2 is one of the best games in NBA history.

GAME THREE: I thought there is a OT but Dirk didn't make the shot, it was blocked by Haslem. shoot. disappointed again! "back trash talking". sayang!

GAME FOUR: WHAA crazzy! i was watching at home alone, i feel like I'm also in AAC watching it live with a scream. DIRK's sick! no good shots but in the fourth quarter. WAPAK! shot!! WINNING! it was Chadler's game! great performance from him!

GAME FIVE: my favorite! nerve-cracking match, especially in the fourth quarter when Miami lead for 2 points (I was so freaking out!) i love JJ's 3 point shots, that dude can really play, small but terrible even the Big Three can't stop him! I also love Dirk rainbow arch 3point shot! I was crazy screaming on that 3pt shot! and the team's winning three's made it for game victory

EPIC! Angst der Deutschen

GAME SIX: this is the moment! before the match started. I super duper knew they'll get the Larry O'Brien award. from their last game's performance  they'll do it again but better. I woke up late, started 2:00 on the first quarter. i observed their determination and confidence that they're not gonna come back for game seven. Miami trailing and my Mavs is on the Game!! THEY GOT THE TROPHY AND MY DIRK IS THE FINALS MVP! sweet!

Hardworking and humble team gets the gold. Fame is unnecessary in reaching the goal!

WHEE!! still having a hangover! i am so proud of them. you don't need to get all superstars just to get the goal! there is no SHORTCUTS!! LETS GO MAVS <3
